Eveready has a proud history as an iconic brand in South Africa. The company was established in 1937. They are still the only South African manufacturer of dry cell batteries, energy saving light bulbs and micro-wind turbines in our country.
As an independent South African company since 2003, Eveready has embraced profitable growth as a core objective. To date, this has led them to expand the Eveready brand to a full range of lighting products, their export brand ecocell, and the acquisition of House of York and Kestrel Renewable Energy.
Their diverse range of products and technologies are developed and manufactured in our world-class facility in Port Elizabeth.
Eveready is an unique and proud South African organisation. It has a dynamic ‘best companies to work for’ environment, characterised by innovation, a continuous leaning culture, environmental consciousness and strong business values and ethics.
